Elddis set to ExCeL at new London Motorhome, Caravan and Camping Show

The team at Elddis is gearing up to the launch of the exciting new Motorhome, Caravan and Camping Show at London's premiere exhibition venue, ExCeL London. The event will be the biggest motorhome, caravan and camping show to take place in London for over five years and promises to be a thrilling day out for anyone interested in camping, caravanning and motorhoming.

This new show, run by the caravan and motorhome industry's exhibition company, NCC Events, will be the only show in the Spring where visitors will be able to see the latest 2012 season caravan and motorhome models from Elddis - and we will be unveiling some brand new and exciting products there for the very first time.

After a hugely successful result at the NCC Events-organised Motorhome and Caravan Show at Birmingham NEC in October, where we gained impressive market share, Elddis will now be pulling out all the stops to make February's show better still with our best-ever product line-up and even more compelling reasons for Customers to choose Elddis.

Visitors to the Motorhome Caravan and Camping Show at ExCeL will be the first to see the all-new Elddis Aspire 265. This is the first 4-berth motorhome to join the award-winning Aspire motorhome range, which offers the highest level of specification at the lowest price in the increasingly competitive luxury sector. The new Aspire 265 will feature a sumptuous fixed double bed at the rear, complete with the trademark decadently-designed Aspire bathroom. Up-front, the L-shaped dinette and captain's chairs create a spacious dining and entertaining space, converting to a further large-size double bed.

There will be exciting new additions to the Elddis touring caravan range, too, with the launch of the all-new Crusader Hurricane. This promises to be one of the most luxurious 2-berth caravans available on the UK market. Unrivalled specification and class-leading craftsmanship have made the Crusader a perennial favourite, but the improvements made in 2012 have propelled the range to overnight success. Due to increasing Customer demand, the new 2-berth Hurricane, with its spectacular end bathroom will join the Crusader line-up and promises to be a must-see for anyone looking for true lightweight luxury in a compact single-axle tourer.

The Elddis Special Limited Edition Diamond Jubilee Range will also be on show at the Motorhome Caravan and Camping Show. This unique range will be produced by Elddis in strictly limited numbers to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen's 60th Year. Based on our class-leading Crusader range and borrowing design influence from our spectacular Aspire motorhome range, the Diamond Jubilee boasts the highest level of quality and attention to detail, inside and out. This exciting new range boasts craftsman-built furniture in Boston Walnut with contrasting cream feature lockers and Aquaclean ® upholstery in 'Botanique' as standard, plus all the benefits and specification you would expect from the class-leading Crusader.

These new additions join our hugely successful Elddis portfolio - a range that offers a greater choice of layouts than any other Manufacturer. The 2012 season line-up showcases some of the most exciting new innovations in the motorhome and caravan industry and a growing list of reasons why more and more Customers are changing to Elddis:

  1. Elddis touring caravans are now amongst the lightest and best equipped in the UK and can be towed with a wider variety of towcars, offering up more Customer choice.
  2. All 2012 Elddis touring caravans feature a unique GRP under skin which covers the entire underside of the caravan creating an impervious barrier to road water and salt. Our new underskins have been extensively tested in a high humidity and salinity chamber simulating extensive exposure to water and salt and whilst the traditional plywood floor used by other Manufacturers delaminated, the new Elddis floor remained in perfect condition.
  3. Elddis has the largest choice of touring caravans with twin fixed single beds combined with an end washroom - one of this year's most popular layouts. The new Avante 574 offers the lowest price point available for this layout, costing £3,000 less than models from Swift and Lunar and around £1,000 less than the Bailey Pegasus Rimini.
  4. Motorhome seat belts are a highly contentious issue where a loophole in the law allows motorhome Manufacturers to avoid offering a seat belt for every berth available in the motorhome. At Elddis our policy is ONLY to offer for sale motorhomes where there is a seat belt for every berth in the motorhome. Customers are joining our "Belts equals Berths” campaign and will only consider a motorhome which meets this basic safety requirement. On our ExCeL stand you will be able to see our brand new motorhome models, the Autoquest 165 and the Aspire 265 - both four berth motorhomes with a fixed beds and of course, four seat belts.
  5. With a cars getting lighter and fuel getting more expensive, more and more people are turning to smaller caravans for economical holidays. After all, the smaller the caravan, in general the lower the price and the less fuel you will use to tow it. The new 10 Year Warranty protects Customers against the perils of water ingress as a result of any defects that have arisen in manufacture.
