The Future of Caravanning - Young Explorers Share Their Thoughts
In a joint campaign with UK toy manufacturer Flair Plc, Elddis launched the start of their Little Elddis Children's Club with a competition to win one of five all-new Sylvanian Families caravans. This latest creation proved to be enormously popular with parents and children alike, with well over 1000 competition entries.
Elddis asked entrants to tell them why they love caravans. The responses were encouraging, well-considered and in some cases, downright hilarious. Whilst many waxed lyrical about the 'freedom of caravanning' and their caravan being 'a real home from home', here are a few of the scribblings that tickled us:
'Its even cooler than my milk' - Noah, age 14 months
'Because when I opened the door I had a big garden to play in' - Lauren, 8
'Because they're cool and better for holidays than leaky tents! Also they are fun. I really want to get a caravan!' - Jessica, 10
'I love the idea of having a portable home' - Amber, 10

'I love to be able to go outside and play and be safe. I love the smell of barbeques and I get to stay up late. Our dog loves it too' - Olivia, 5
'Because I hate camping and spoilt my first holiday in France for my Daddy, so he bought a caravan that I think is brilliant and I shout 'caravan!' whenever I see it on our drive (I'm only 1 ½) - so caravanning is ace! Thank you Daddy!' - Elly (via Mum)
